We are excited to announce that comprehensive renovation work has officially commenced at the Batakundi Youth Hostel, aiming to enhance the overall experience and comfort for our guests. This project is part of our continued commitment to providing safe, modern, and well-equipped accommodation facilities for youth and travelers in the region.
Key Highlights of the Renovation:
- Construction of 22 Attached Washrooms:
To ensure privacy and convenience, 22 modern washrooms are being added, each attached directly to the hostel rooms. These facilities will be equipped with high- quality sanitary fittings, ensuring hygiene and comfort for all guests.
- Installation of a 25 kW Solar System:
Emphasizing our commitment to sustainability and green energy, a powerful 25 kilowatt solar power system is being installed. This will provide an uninterrupted power supply and reduce dependency on traditional energy sources, especially in remote areas like Batakundi.
- Rehabilitation of Sanitation Infrastructure:
Existing sanitation systems are undergoing thorough rehabilitation to improve water flow, drainage, and overall hygiene. This includes the replacement of outdated pipes, fixing leaks, and ensuring environmentally friendly waste management.
- Perimeter Fencing:
To enhance the security and privacy of the hostel premises, durable fencing is being installed around the property. This will not only provide safety but also define the boundary of the hostel more clearly.
- Renovation of the Main Reception Area:
The hostel’s reception area is being completely revamped to create a warm, welcoming, and functional space for visitors. The redesign includes a modern reception desk, upgraded waiting area, and improved lighting and ventilation.
- Additional Upgrades:
Several other enhancements are also underway, including improved landscaping, internal pathway repairs, updated room interiors, better lighting solutions, and signage installation to guide guests more effectively.
