Under the direction of Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao Deputy Commissioner Malakand and Mr. Abbas Khan Afridi Director of the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a one-day seminar titled “Empowering Students Through Career Counselling, Leadership and Active Citizenship” was held on 24 June 2026 at the Bright Future Institute of Science & Technology Batkhela under the Youth Policy 2026.

The event was organised by the District Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with the Bright Future Institute and the District Administration Malakand.

The purpose of the session was to guide students in career planning, enhance their leadership abilities and encourage them to become active and responsible citizens who can contribute positively to society.

More than 100 students from different walks of life participated in the seminar.

Mr. Tabish Ali (Additional Assistant Commissioner Batkhela) attended the event as the Chief Guest. His presence added distinction to the occasion and he extended his full support and encouragement to the participating students.

Guest speaker Mr. Asad Ali Seemab delivered a comprehensive address highlighting the key themes of the seminar including career planning, leadership development and the responsibilities of active citizenship.

Engineer Kalim Ullah also elaborated on the seminar’s core themes, reinforcing the message that today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders.

Mr. Shehzad Tariq District Youth Officer stated This seminar aims to guide students in career planning, build leadership skills and motivate them to become responsible citizens. He further added that such activities are being organised in every tehsil of Malakand to empower and engage youth at the grassroots level.

At the conclusion of the seminar certificates of participation were distributed among the participants while shields and gifts were presented to the distinguished guests and other prominent personalities.
