On the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Malakand Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao and Director of the Directorate of Youth Affairs Peshawar Mr. Abbas Khan Afridi a one-week IT and Digital Skills Boot Camp was organized by the District Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with the District Administration Malakand.

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was held on 16 June 2026 at the Perfect Institute of Science & Technology Batkhela . where more than 50 registered students were awarded certificates.

The purpose of the training was to equip students with practical digital and freelancing skills enabling them to benefit from online earning opportunities and enhance their future career prospects.

Master Trainer Mr. Salman Shal highlighted the various topics covered during the boot camp. District Youth Officer Mr. Shehzad Tariq stated that such training is essential alongside formal education as it enables students to earn online while continuing their studies. He further announced that similar courses would be organized in different tehsils of the district.

Mr. Asjad Yousaf remarked that Malakand is full of talent and potential and that such courses would greatly benefit students. He encouraged them to take advantage of these opportunities. Mr. Sultan Zeb also advised students to utilize their time productively and focus on acquiring IT-related skills.

Ms. Nizakat encouraged female students to participate confidently in such training programs emphasizing that these opportunities can play a significant role in helping them become independent and self-reliant. Other guests included Mr. Haris Khan and Mr. Arshad Ali.

A question-and-answer session was also held during the ceremony. At the conclusion of the event shields and gifts were distributed among the guests and other distinguished participants.
