Under the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Manzoor Ahmad Afridi a one week IT and Digital Skills Boot Camp was organized by the District Youth Office Dir Upper, in collaboration with the District Administration Dir Upper.

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was held today 20th May 2026 at Hope College of Management Technical and Vocational Education. More than 60 students were awarded course completion certificates.

The purpose of the course was to equip students with basic computer literacy and essential digital skills, enabling them to use technology effectively alongside their studies and explore opportunities for online earning.

Salam Hastam(AAC Dir Town ) attended the ceremony as the chief guest and encouraged students to learn digital skills alongside their education in order to increase their earning opportunities in today’s era.

Zahid Jan, Shehzad Tariq and Sangeen Khan also advised students to focus on freelancing and digital marketing. They stated that such skills are extremely important in the modern era and help students enhance their learning and career opportunities. They further assured that every possible facility would be provided to students at every stage of life.

Other distinguished guests included Maaz Jan, Seemab Ali Khan, Ibrar Khan Wardag and Zuhaib Jan.

A question and answer session was also held regarding future training programs and vocational skill development opportunities.

At the end of the ceremony shields and gifts were presented to the guests and other prominent participants.
