New Events

The District Youth Office Abbottabad in collaboration with Shelter of Hope organized an impactful event on Women Empowerment at the District Council Hall under thw supervisionof DistrictAdministrationAbbottabad. Students actively participated by delivering speeches in both English and Urdu on different topics on Women's Rights and their roles, and an engaging quiz competition was also conducted among the audience.

The panel discussion featured distinguished speakers including Ifresyab Zubair Hundal (Assistant Commissioner ATD), Zainab Hafeez (Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Sindh), Ali Hamza Butt (SP Cantt ATD), Romish Saleem (Politician & Social Worker), Sonia Shah (MPA), Dr. Erum Siddique (DMS), Auzair Mehmood (Educationist), Dr. Tahseen Bibi (Educationist), Hassan Jahangiri (Educationist), and Saima Urooj (Educationist). The panel shared valuable insights on the importance of women empowerment, highlighting challenges, opportunities, and the role of youth in creating a more inclusive and progressive society.

Ms Azka Fatima Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning attended the event as honourable guest alongwith Ms Bushra Masroor (DYO Abbottabad).

Winners of the competitions were awarded with shields and gifts, making the event both inspiring and rewarding for all participants.
