A Spring Plantation Drive 2026 was organized by the District Youth Office Dir Upper in collaboration with the Forest Department and Muslim Hands Dir Upper at the Muslim Hands Head Office College Colony Dir Upper on 12 March 2026.

The purpose of the plantation drive was to promote environmental protection, raise awareness about the importance of trees and encourage youth and the community to actively participate in making the environment greener and healthier for future generations.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief) Sher Ali Khan participated as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the plantation drive by planting fruit and indigenous plants. On this occasion he said that planting trees not only improves the environment but also ensures a better and healthier future for the coming generations

More than 50 students and volunteers along with officers and officials from different departments actively participated in planting different plants at the main ground of the office.

District Youth Officer Shehzad Tariq, Younas Khan (SDFO), Murad Khan (Program Manager SRSP) and Inam Ullah Khan (Program Manager Muslim Hands) were also present on the occasion. They also planted trees under the plantation campaign.
