On 16th February, 2025, the District Youth Office Kohistan Lower organized an awareness session on the theme of “Prevention of Violent Extremism” at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Ranolia. The session was conducted with the objective of sensitizing students to the serious consequences of violent extremism and its adverse impact on society. Participants were informed about the importance of tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence in maintaining social harmony. Emphasis was laid on the constructive role of youth in countering extremist narratives through education and positive engagement. The speakers highlighted the significance of critical thinking and responsible citizenship in preventing radicalization. The event concluded with an interactive discussion, encouraging students to contribute actively towards promoting peace, unity, and national cohesion.
