Seminar on Promoting Peace and Preventing Extremism held on 12-02-2026 at District Hangu
Upon the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Hangu and the Director of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a seminar was held at Government Degree College Hangu. District Youth Officer Mr. Raza Ullah emphasized the importance of education in fostering positive change and preventing violence among youth.
Professor Waris Khan discussed how the younger generation can contribute to society by promoting nonviolence and resolving conflicts through dialogue. Students also delivered speeches, encouraging their peers to work for societal betterment through peaceful means.
The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates to participating students.
