Upon the direction of DC Peshawar, Capt (R) Sana Ullah Khan, the District Youth Affairs Peshawar organized a one-day seminar on Drug Awareness at Badaber Degree College, Peshawar. The seminar aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage youth to play a positive role in building a healthy and drug-free society.

The event was graced by Mr. Wajid Shah, DSP Badaber Circle, as the Chief Guest. The seminar was also attended by Mr. Haroon Shah, Tehsil Chairman, and Mr. Sareer Uddin, Principal of Badaber Degree College, along with faculty members and a large number of students.

While addressing the participants, DSP Mr. Wajid Shah emphasized the critical role of awareness and prevention in combating drug abuse. He stated that drug addiction is not only an individual issue but a serious social problem that affects families, communities, and the future of the nation. He urged students to stay away from drugs, remain vigilant about their surroundings, and help law enforcement agencies by reporting suspicious activities. He further highlighted that informed and responsible youth are the strongest force against the spread of drugs.

The speakers appreciated the efforts of District Youth Affairs Peshawar for organizing such an informative seminar and stressed the need for continued awareness programs to safeguard the younger generation from the dangers of substance abuse.
