Under the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Mr. Naveed Akbar and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Nauman Mujahid a one-week Web Development computer short course was organized by the District Youth Office in collaboration with the District Administration Dir Upper at E-Tech College Rehankot Dir Upper.

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was held on 03 January 2026 at E-Tech College Rehankot Dir Upper. More than 50 students were awarded certificates upon successful completion of the course.

The purpose of this web development short course was to equip students with basic and practical digital skills enable them to understand modern web technologies and enhance their employment and freelancing opportunities in the digital world.

Mr. Sajjad Ali Tareen the resource person highlighted the course content and explained the importance of web development skills in today’s digital era. Mr. Zubair welcomed the participants and expressed his gratitude to the District Youth Office for organizing such productive and beneficial courses. Mr. Seemab Ali Khan Youth Chairman Rehankot addressed the students and assured them of continuous support stating that more such activities would be organized in the future.

District Youth Officer Dir Upper Mr. Shehzad Tariq expressed his gratitude to the trainers for their dedication and valuable efforts throughout the course. He stated that such skills-based short courses play a vital role in students lives alongside their academic studies. He further added that the Youth Office aims to empower youth with digital skills to help them become self-reliant and independent in today’s competitive world.

Other distinguished guests at the ceremony included Mr. Luqman Adil Mr. Sangeen Khan and Mr. Ibrar Wardag. At the end of the ceremony shields and gifts were presented to the guests and other prominent participants in recognition of their valuable contributions.
