Under the instructions of the worthy Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Mr. Naveed Akbar and the Director Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Nauman Mujahid a two-week short course in Video Editing was organized by the District Youth Office Dir Upper in collaboration with the District Administration at Moon Star Technical & Vocational Institute Darora Dir Upper.

The course completion and certificate distribution ceremony was held on 28 January 2026 at Moon Star Technical & Vocational Institute Darora. More than 50 students including madrasa students,orphans and persons with disabilities were awarded course completion certificates.

The main purpose of the video editing course was to equip youth with practical digital media skills enhance their creativity and enable them to earn independently while continuing their studies. The course aimed to prepare students to meet the growing demand for digital content creation in both the public and private sectors.

Mr. Hamayat Shah the Guest Speaker highlighted the importance of video editing skills and provided detailed demonstrations of Filmora, CapCut and KineMaster. District Youth Officer Dir Upper Mr. Shehzad Tariq stated that such skills-based training programs would be organized in every tehsil. He emphasized that these courses play a vital role in students academic and professional lives and help youth support the digital media needs of government departments , NGOs and the private sector.

The students expressed their gratitude to the District Youth Officer for arranging such a productive skills-based training program. They stated that these kinds of courses are essential alongside formal education and are important for leading an independent and self-reliant life. Other distinguished guests included Mr. Luqman Adil Mr. Zohaib Jan Mr. Younas Khan Mr. Inayat and Mr. Main Bahadar. At the end of the ceremony shields were presented to the guests and organizers in recognition of their valuable contributions.
