On the directions of the Director Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Deputy Commissioner Torghar, a seminar on the Positive Use of Social Media was organized by the District Youth Office Torghar in collaboration with the District Administration and District Education Office (Male) at Government High School Dour Mera. The guest speakers included Mr. Noor Khan, Tehsildar Dour Mera, Mr. Muhammad Asif, ADEO Sports, Mr. Mansoor, Instructor Civil Defence and the Principal, GHS Dour Mera, who discussed in detail the responsible, ethical, and productive use of social media. They highlighted how social media can serve as an effective tool for education, skill development, career guidance, public awareness, and promotion of positive values, while also cautioning students about its misuse, fake news, cyberbullying, and excessive screen time.

Students also delivered speeches in Urdu and English, sharing their views on the positive role of social media in learning and communication, along with the importance of digital responsibility. At the conclusion of the seminar, the District Youth Officer presented shields to the guests of honor and participants, while certificates and appreciation shields were awarded to students for their active participation. The event concluded with prayers seeking success for the youth and prosperity for the country.
