Under the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Mr. Naveed Akhbar and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Nauman Mujahid a one-week IT Digital Skills Boot Camp was organized by the London Institute of Professional Studies in collaboration with the District Administration and the District Youth Office Dir Upper.

The purpose of the IT Digital Skills Boot Camp was to equip students with modern digital and IT skills enabling them to enhance their academic performance, explore freelancing opportunities and prepare for future careers in the digital economy.

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was held on 20 January 2026 at the London Institute of Professional Studies Wari Dir Upper. More than 60 students were awarded participation and appreciation certificates for successfully completing the training.

Mr. Ayoub Khan warmly welcomed the guests and students and efficiently performed the responsibilities of Stage Secretary. Mr. Adil Islam expressed his gratitude to the District Administration and the District Youth Office for their collaboration and operational support in making the boot camp a productive and successful initiative. He also expressed hope that more such sessions would be organized in the future to further equip students with new IT skills and enable them to start freelancing alongside their studies.

The guest speakers, Mr. Jauhar Ali Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad and Mr. Zeeshan highlighted key areas including Digital Marketing, Amazon, Basic IT Skills, Graphic Designing, and Web Development providing valuable insights and practical guidance to the participants.

The District Youth Officer Shehzad Tariq thanked the guest speakers and organizers and emphasized that youth is a national asset. He stated that such skill based training programs play a vital role in students education and future careers. He further announced that similar workshops and training programs would be arranged in every tehsil of the district.

A question-and-answer session was also conducted during which students appreciated the District Youth Office for organizing such a beneficial and productive program. Other distinguished guests included Mr. Luqman Adil and Mr. Zohaib Jan.

At the end of the ceremony shields and gifts were presented to the guests as a token of appreciation.
