A meeting on the Chief Minister’s directive “Ehsaas-e-Zimmedari” was held today on 06-01-2026 under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdullah Shah, Additional Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Department, along with other key officers of the department and attached formations.

Discussion points:

• Posting and transfer will be carried out on the principle of the right person for the right job, with implementation of the two-year tenure policy.

• All fresh appointments will be strictly made on merit.

• Promotions will be granted on merit and in a timely manner.

• Merit and transparency will be ensured in all public procurement processes.

• Timely release of funds will be ensured.

• Office expenditures will be controlled and monitored.

• Monthly reviews will be conducted regarding timely and merit-based disposal of public complaints received from different platforms.

• Regular surprise visits will be conducted.

• Monthly reviews of development projects will be carried out.

• Transparency will be promoted through proactive disclosure of public information under RTI.

• The status of departmental litigation cases will be reviewed regularly.
