Under the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Mr. Naveed Akbar and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Nauman Mujahid a two-day career counselling workshop was organized by the District Youth Office Dir Upper in collaboration with the District Administration Dir Upper.

The closing and appreciation certificate distribution ceremony was held on 30 December 2025 at Modern English Language and Technical Academy Dir Town.

The purpose of the career counselling workshop was to guide students in identifying their interests, skills, and abilities, to help them make informed decisions about their education and career paths and to enable them to choose the right career according to market demand and personal potential.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Dir Upper Mr. Salman Hashtam was invited as the chief guest. While addressing the participants he stated that the district administration would always support such productive and beneficial sessions and assured that more similar activities would be organized in the future.

Dr. Wajid Raza and Mr. Imran Khan were the guest speakers of the workshop. They highlighted key career-related topics explained SWOT analysis and guided students on career selection and choosing the right professional path. They also emphasized the importance of career counselling in shaping a successful future.

Mr. Semab Ali Khan Youth Chairman Rehankot appreciated the efforts of the District Administration and the District Youth Office . He assured continued support for youth development initiatives and pledged to work for a better future for the youth.

Mr. Shehzad Tariq thanked the organizers , chief guest, guest speakers, and all participants. He stated that similar career counselling sessions would be organized in every tehsil of Dir Upper in different colleges and institutes.

A question and answer session was also held during which students asked various questions related to careers and education. The students expressed their gratitude to the District Youth Office for arranging such a productive and informative workshop.
