Under the instructions of the worthy Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper Mr. Naveed Akbar and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Peshawar Mr. Nauman Mujahid a one-month Graphic Designing Short Course was organized by Danish Children Academy and College Barawal in collaboration with the District Administration and the District Youth Office Dir Upper.

The course completion and certificate distribution ceremony was held on 26 December 2025 at Danish Children Academy and College Barawal. More than 60 female students were awarded course completion certificates.

The purpose of this graphic designing short course was to empower females with technical and vocational skills enabling them to start freelancing, self-employment, or work from home. Speaking on the occasion District Youth Officer Dir Upper Mr. Shehzad Tariq stated that such skill-based training programs play a vital role in women’s economic empowerment and in preparing them for a better and independent future. He emphasized that graphic designing is a highly valuable skill with significant scope in the digital era.

Mr. Majid Shams served as the Master Trainer of the course. He provided comprehensive training along with hands-on practical sessions throughout the month. As a result of his dedicated efforts the students produced outstanding and creative designs which received great appreciation from the audience.

The students expressed their sincere gratitude to the college administration and the District Youth Office for arranging this useful creative and empowering course.

Among the distinguished guests were Ms. Kainat Zaman , Mr. Luqman Adil, Mr. Zohaib Jan, and social and political activists Mr. Yasir Akmal Yousafzai and Mr. Umar Khan.

At the end of the ceremony, gifts and shields were presented to the guests as a token of appreciation.
