Under the instructions of the Worthy Deputy Commissioner, Dir Upper, Mr. Naveed Akbar, and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Peshawar, Dr. Nauman Mujahid, a One-Month Office Automation Computer Short Course was organised by the Director Societies, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Sheringal, in collaboration with the District Youth Office Dir Upper and District Administration, Dir Upper.

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony was held on 22 December 2025 at the Computer Lab, SBBU Sheringal. The purpose of the One-Month Office Automation Course was to equip students with essential computer and office technology skills required in modern workplaces. The course aimed to enhance students proficiency in office software, digital record management, and efficient handling of routine office tasks in a professional manner.

More than 95 students were awarded completion certificates. Assistant Professor Dr. Wajid Raza and Lecturer Kaleem Jan served as the Master Trainers of the course and delivered comprehensive lectures throughout the one-month duration on MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.

The Chief Guest of the occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Hussain, in his address, encouraged students to actively participate in such short-term courses to enhance their skills and prepare themselves for future professional challenges.

The District Youth Officer, Dir Upper, Mr. Shehzad Tariq, expressed his gratitude to the organisers, students, and Master Trainers for their valuable contributions. In his remarks, he highlighted that short-term technical training courses play a vital role in academic achievement, professional development, and future leadership opportunities. He advised students to continue learning, improving their skills, and maintaining confidence in themselves.

Students also expressed their appreciation to the District Youth Office for arranging such a useful and impactful course.

Other distinguished guests included Assistant Professor Dr. Fazli Haleem, Luqman Adil, and Zohaib Jan.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, shields and gifts were presented to the Chief Guest, Guest Speakers, and Guests of Honour.
