A comprehensive session on Drug Abuse and Narcotics Control was organized at Government High School (GHS) Judba, Torghar on the direction of Director Youth Affairs and Deputy Commissioner Torghar. The program was arranged by the District Youth Office to raise awareness among students and the local community about the increasing threat of drug abuse and the need for collective preventive measures.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning) Mr. Ali Sher graced the event as the Chief Guest. Excise & Taxation Officer Torghar, Mr. Amjid Zareen, attended as the Guest Speaker and Resource Person.

Mr. Amjid Zareen delivered an insightful and informative presentation, explaining the harmful effects of drug addiction on individuals, families, and society. He highlighted the importance of awareness sessions in educational institutions and stressed the role of youth in rejecting drugs and promoting healthy lifestyles.

The Chief Guest, ADC F&P Mr. Ali Sher, also shed light on the significance of the topic, emphasizing the responsibility of students and community members to stay away from negative influences. He appreciated the Deputy Commissioner Torghar for initiating such meaningful activities and commended the District Youth Office for effectively organizing the session.

At the conclusion of the program, shields and souvenirs were presented to the distinguished guests. District Youth Officer Mr. Zahid Hussain Shah awarded honorary shields to the Chief Guest Mr. Ali Sher and Guest Speaker Mr. Amjid Zareen (ETO Torghar) in recognition of their valuable contributions.

Certificates of participation were then distributed among the students and participants. The session concluded with heartfelt prayers for the well-being of the youth and the prosperity of District Torghar.
