New Events

Under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Dir Upper, Mr. Naveed Akbar, and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs, Peshawar, Dr. Nauman Mujahid, the Department of Management Sciences / Character Building Society, SBBU Sheringal, in collaboration with the District Youth Office Dir Upper, organized Anti-Corruption Week at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Sheringal.

A series of competitions, including English and Urdu Declamation Contests, Poster/Painting Competitions, and Essay Writing Competitions, were conducted during the event. More than 52 students participated in these activities. The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness among students and the broader community regarding the harmful effects of corruption and to encourage the promotion of transparency, integrity, and accountability in society.

Students from various institutions, including SBBU Sheringal, nearby public schools, and different academic departments, actively participated and showcased their talents. Prof. Dr. Abdul Khaliq and Dr. Fazli Haleem visited the exhibition and appreciated the students’ creativity and the meaningful messages depicted in their posters and artworks.

The Director of Societies, SBBU Sheringal, Prof. Dr. Wajid Raza, served as the chief organizer of the event. All participants were awarded certificates and appreciation gifts, while shields were presented to distinguished contributors and prominent guests in recognition of their valuable support and participation.

The event concluded with a collective pledge to actively contribute toward combating corruption and promoting ethical and moral values in personal as well as professional life.
