Today, on November 6th, 2025, District Youth Affairs Nowshera, in collaboration with the District Administration Nowshera & NRSP (Awaz II), established a Skill Development Centre at the doorstep of the minorities' communities houses.

In the first stage of this program, District Youth Affairs Nowshera will be affording tailoring/stitching skills training to the female youth, hailing from various minorities' religious backgrounds.

In the second stage, other programs will be introduced, including but not limited to digi-skills, beautician et al.

This task was assigned to the DYA Nowshera by the District Administration a month ago. DYA took up the task and, after the requisite arrangements, started the program in a record time.

The purpose of the program is to make the minorities' youth as useful and productive members of the society, making them start contributing towards the society in securing the ideals of nation building. It would also reflect upon their financial standing in rescuing them from the scourge of unemployment, the resultant poverty and their joining of the mainstream by taking up different roles of skilled workers and entrepreneurs.
