Upon the directions of Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Lower, Mr. Mussarat Zaman sb, and under the guidance of Director Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Nauman Mujahid sb, the District Youth Office South Waziristan Lower, in collaboration with Shakai Youth Welfare Organization, organized a comprehensive Awareness Seminar and Walk on the hazards of drug abuse and its prevention at Tehsil Shakai.

The seminar aimed to educate and sensitize the youth about the devastating effects of drug addiction, while empowering them with the knowledge and motivation to resist and prevent its spread within the community.

Distinguished guest speakers, Moulana Amjad Sb and Mr. Muhammad Bilal, General Secretary Shakai Youth Welfare Organization, delivered insightful talks, stressing the urgent need for collective action and community engagement to address the growing threat of drug use in Waziristan.

The increasing prevalence of drug addiction in the region poses a serious social and public health challenge. Initiatives like this play a vital role in fostering awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles, and encouraging youth to actively contribute to building a drug-free society.
