On 11th August 2025, the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hosted a befitting ceremony on Minority Day, graced by respectable guests from across different segments. The event started with the recitation from the Holy Bible and prayer. Stage secretary functions were conducted by Mr. Imran. Director Youth Affairs, Dr. Nauman Mujahid, emphasized the significance of Minority Day, minority rights, and informed about different schemes operated by the department. Youngsters and children from Landi Kotal performed national songs and tableaus, which were appreciated very warmly by the attendees. One of the representative of Akhuwat Islamic Institute presented extensive information regarding the Ehsaas Naujawan Program (interest-free loan scheme) and the special quota for minorities under it. Ex-MPA Khyber Mr. Wilson Wazir, the event's chief guest, also presented an extensive address on the importance of Minority Day. At the culmination of the program, a cake-cutting ceremony was organized with all the guests, and Deputy Director Mr. Zubair and Assistant Director Mr. Sardar Irfan thanked everyone while promising to keep working to further develop the youth. The ceremony was brought to an end by Pastor Jamil Matti with a prayer for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan. The ceremony was a wonderful example of interfaith harmony and unity.
