Moonsoon Plantation Drive 2025 at District Mansehra

In line with the vision of a greener and healthier Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Provincial Government, under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Mansehra and Director Youth Affairs, initiated a Monsoon Plantation Drive across Mansehra District. The District Youth Office Mansehra, in collaboration with Qalb Welfare Foundation, played a leading role in executing this environmental initiative.

On Day 1, the plantation activity was carried out at Siran Valley, Mansehra, where a total of 350 saplings were planted. These included 150 fruit-bearing plants and 200 indigenous species, planted primarily at Siran Village Resorts to enhance the valley’s natural ecosystem and promote sustainable greenery in the area.

On Day 2, the drive extended to Tehsil Oghi, Mansehra, where the District Youth Office, together with Qalb Welfare Organisation, continued its efforts by planting 40 fruit trees and 80 native species. This phase of the campaign aimed to not only increase forest cover but also contribute to improving air quality, soil conservation, and biodiversity in the region.
