Awareness and Prevention Seminar on Drug Abuse 2025 at District South Waziristan Lower

The District Youth Office South Waziristan Lower, in collaboration with Bright Future Organization, organized a comprehensive awareness seminar on the hazards of drug abuse and its prevention at New Wana Model School Ghawakhwa.

The seminar aimed to sensitize and educate the youth about the devastating effects of drug addiction and to empower them with the knowledge and motivation to resist and prevent its spread within the community.

Distinguished guest speakers, Mr. Aslam Wazir and Mr. Owais Wazir, delivered insightful talks emphasizing the urgent need for collective action and community engagement to address the growing threat of drug use in Waziristan.

The increasing prevalence of drug addiction in the region poses a serious social and public health challenge. Initiatives like this play a crucial role in fostering awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles, and encouraging youth to contribute to building a drug-free society.
