On the directions of the Provincial government and the Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , the District Youth Office, Haripur in collaboration with the Government Girls Degree College, KTS Haripur organized a one-day Awareness Seminar on Soft Skills at Government Postgraduate College, Haripur.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat Khawani, setting a respectful and spiritual tone for the event. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Professor Syed Jamil Hussain Shah of Government Postgraduate College Haripur. He warmly welcomed the District Youth Officer, the esteemed Resource Person, faculty members, and all the participating students.

The key session was conducted by the Resource Person, Madam Fouzia Anwer, Associate Professor at Government Girls Degree College, KTS Haripur. She delivered highly valuable and insightful lectures on essential soft skills including Time Management, Leadership, Problem Solving, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Teamwork etc. Madam Fouzia Anwer explained each concept in detail and supported her discussion with practical, real-life examples to ensure maximum student engagement and understanding.

An interactive Question and Answer session was also held throughout the seminar. Students participated actively and a very constructive discussion and positive feedback was observed. At the conclusion District Youth Officer, Madam Nazia Shaheen addressed the students. She emphasized the importance of soft skills in academic and professional life and reiterated the commitment of the District Youth Office to youth empowerment. She also expressed her sincere gratitude to Madam Fouzia Anwer, Associate Professor Government Girls degree college KTS, the administration and faculty of Government Postgraduate College Haripur for their collaboration and cooperation in making the event a success.

Professor Zulfikar, Vice Principal of Government Postgraduate College Haripur, also addressed the gathering and appreciated the initiative. The seminar concluded with the distribution of souvenirs among the guest speaker, guests of honor. The District Youth Office, Haripur remains committed to organizing more such skill-development initiatives for the youth of District Haripur under the vision of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
