The initiative reached 6+ villages, distributing saplings to local communities free of cost and encouraging community-led reforestation on the ground. By putting saplings directly in residents' hands, the mission reflects the Directorate's commitment to building a sustainable, climate-resilient future for the NMDs, one sapling at a time.
