New Events

International Youth Day 2026 was celebrated at Oxford IT Campus Batkhela under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Malakand Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao and Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Peshawar Mr. Abbas Khan Afridi.

The event was organized by the District Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with Oxford IT Campus Batkhela and District Administration Malakand with the participation of more than 132 students, volunteers and people from different walks of life.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Batkhela Mr. Tabish Ali (AAC Batkhela) Dr. Nausher Khan (MD Oxford IT Campus) Mr. Basir Ullah (President FIXIT Malakand) Mr. Iqtidar Ali Khan (Coordinator FIXIT Malakand) and Mr. Yasir Usman (Coordinator Oxford IT Campus) and Lecturer Malak Saad-ur-Rehman attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion the speakers highlighted the importance of International Youth Day and emphasized the vital role of young people in the development and progress of society. They stressed the need to equip youth with quality education, digital skills, leadership opportunities and employment-oriented skills so that they can contribute positively to the future of Pakistan.

An interactive question and answer session was also held in which students actively participated. The students appreciated the District Youth Office for organizing the informative and engaging session.

A plantation drive was also conducted as part of the celebrations to promote environmental responsibility among youth.

At the conclusion of the event certificates and shields were distributed among the participating students and guests in recognition of their participation and support.
