As a part of the HEC Summer Internship Program 2026, District Youth Office Haripur in collaboration with Dard-e-Insaniyat Welfare Foundation Haripur organized an exposure visit for youth interns to the Chamber of Commerce and Industries Haripur.

The President of Chamber of Commerce Haripur Mr. Umair Khalid warmly welcomed the interns and shared valuable insights about the role of the Chamber, its working, business facilitation, investment opportunities, and the importance of entrepreneurship for youth. He also highlighted how young people can contribute to economic growth and become job creators instead of job seekers.

This visit gave the interns practical knowledge about the local business ecosystem, industry challenges, and the support available for startups in Haripur. It was a great learning experience that bridged the gap between academia and the business community.
