Under the guidance of Director Youth Affairs Peshawar Mr. Abbas Khan Afridi and Deputy Commissioner Malakand Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao the Pakistan Cleanliness Movement was launched in Malakand today 10 August 2026.

The campaign was organized by the District Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with Tehsil Municipal Administration Batkhela with the participation of more than 85 officials,volunteers and students.

The cleanliness drive started from DHQ Hospital Batkhela and continued to Batkhela Bus Stand where more than 20 spots were cleaned.

The campaign aims to promote cleanliness, civic responsibility, public awareness and community participation encouraging citizens especially young people to play an active role in keeping their surroundings clean and healthy.

The campaign will continue from 10 to 13 August 2026 across Malakand.
