New Events

On the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir (Day of Exploitation), a series of sports and awareness activities were organized under the auspices of the District Sports Officer Karak and District Youth Officer Karak to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to condemn India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Karak, Mr. Sahibzada Samiullah, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Additional Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Mr. Jamil Al-Hadi. They formally inaugurated the Badminton Tournament and a Photo Exhibition highlighting the Indian atrocities in Indian-Administered Jammu & Kashmir as well as the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from players, youth, and local citizens, who expressed their firm solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mr. Sahibzada Samiullah stated that Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir serves as a reminder of India’s illegal actions and severe human rights violations in Indian-Administered Jammu & Kashmir. He affirmed that the Pakistani nation will continue to extend moral, political, and diplomatic support at all levels to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for self-determination.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Chief Guest distributed prizes among the winning teams and standout players. He praised the District Sports Office and District Youth Office for their efficient arrangements and successful organization of the event.

The participants reaffirmed their resolve that the international community must take notice of the human rights violations in Indian-Administered Jammu & Kashmir and play an effective role in granting the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination in accordance with UN resolutions.
