Under the special directives of the "Deputy Commissioner Karak, Mr. Asad Sarwar", and the "Director Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Abbas Afridi", the "District Youth Office Karak", in collaboration with the "District Administration Karak", successfully organized the "Plantation Drive 2026" under the implementation of the "KP Youth Policy 2026".

The activity was held on 31st July 2026 at the District Youth Office Karak, where youth volunteers, members of the Youth Development Forum, government officials, and community representatives actively participated in the distribution and sowing of seed balls as an innovative and sustainable approach to afforestation and environmental conservation.

The initiative aimed to encourage youth participation in climate action, enhance biodiversity, and promote environmental awareness by introducing seed balls as an effective, low-cost, and eco-friendly method of increasing green cover. Once dispersed, these seed balls have the potential to germinate naturally during the monsoon season, contributing to the restoration of degraded land and the creation of greener landscapes across the district.

The "Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa", remains committed to empowering youth through meaningful community initiatives that align with the vision of "KP Youth Policy 2026". The Plantation Drive reflects the shared vision of the District Administration Karak and the District Youth Office Karak to inspire responsible citizenship, strengthen community engagement, and build a greener and more climate-resilient future for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
