Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Malakand Mr. Fayaz Khan Sherpao and Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Peshawar Mr. Abbas Khan Afridi a Two-Day Urdu AI Workshop was organized by the District Youth Office Malakand in collaboration with Awaz Welfare Organization and the District Administration Malakand on 21–22 July 2026 at Maina near the Awaz Welfare Organization Office.

More than 120 students actively participated in the workshop demonstrating great enthusiasm for learning artificial intelligence and modern digital technologies.

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Shabir Ahmad who served as the Master Trainer. He introduced participants to leading AI tools, including ChatGPT, Gemini NotebookLM and explained their practical applications in education, research, content creation productivity and career development. The sessions were delivered in Urdu making AI concepts easy to understand and accessible to all participants.

District Youth Officer Mr. Shehzad Tariq, Mr. Sami ur Rehman, Dr. Gul Badshah and Mr. Faisal Wadan highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence and digital skills for the future of youth. They encouraged participants to use AI responsibly for education, innovation and career development and appreciated the organizers for arranging such a valuable learning opportunity.

An interactive question and answer session was held during which participants discussed various aspects of artificial intelligence and received practical guidance from the Master Trainer and guest speakers.

The participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the District Youth Office Malakand, Awaz Welfare Organization and the District Administration Malakand for organizing such a productive and informative workshop.

At the closing ceremony Certificates of Participation were distributed among the participants. Shields and gifts were also presented to the distinguished guests, the Master Trainer and other prominent contributors in recognition of their valuable support and services.
