On the directions of District Administration and Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs Department, District Youth Office Haripur successfully organized a seminar on "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Transforming Medical and Technical Education" at IPAHS Sarai Saleh Haripur. The session aimed to create awareness among students and professionals about how AI is reshaping learning, healthcare, and technical fields.

District Youth Officer, Madam Nazia Shaheen welcomed all the distinguished Guest Speakers specially Dr Ibrahim Associate Professor University of Haripur and Mr. Ehsaan Ul Haq IT lecturer and Master Trainer NAVTTC, Director, Mr. Hanif Ur Rehman, Institute of Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences Sarai Salah Haripur, Principal, Mst. Mahera Mohsin, Event Coordinator Mr Naveed Shah,all the Faculty Members, Students, Volunteers and Youth on behalf of the District Administration and Directorate of youth Affairs. She appraised the presence of all the dignitaries on the day which reflects their shared commitment to equip the youth of Haripur with knowledge, skills, and vision for the future.

District Youth Officer addressed the participants that this seminar is being organized as part of the Implementation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Youth Policy 2026. "Our goal is simple: to bridge the gap between traditional education and the demands of the digital future, and to empower our youth to lead in fields like healthcare, technology, and innovation". At the district level, the District Youth Office Haripur is working to turn this policy into action through seminars, trainings, volunteer programs, and collaborations with universities and institutes like IPAHS, KP-TEVTA etc. It is the aim of DYO to make Haripur’s youth skilled, confident, and future-ready. Artificial Intelligence is no longer the future, it is the present. From AI-assisted diagnoses and robotic surgery in medical fields, to smart learning and technical training in TVET institutes, AI is transforming how we learn and serve. Madam Nazia Shaheen stressed that this seminar will help students of medical and technical fields understand how to use AI as a tool to enhance learning, improve healthcare delivery, and create new career opportunities and to think innovatively and embrace technology for the betterment of their society.

Guest Speakers included Dr. Ibrahim Associate Professor University of Haripur and Mr. Ehsaan Ul Haq who has 10 plus years experience as a Master Trainer NAVTTC etc, delivered an insightful presentation on practical applications of AI in education and healthcare, highlighting future trends and opportunities for youth. Both the guest speakers addressed the audience emphasizing the need to equip students with AI, digital and technical skills for a purpose-driven future.

At the end of the seminar, Q&A session was conducted and certificates were distributed among the participants and shields were presented to the esteemed guests as a token of appreciation. More than hundred students availed the opportunity. The event was well received and encouraged students to explore AI as a tool for innovation, community service and health care systems.
