Under the implementation of the "Youth Affairs Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Policy 2026", the District Youth Affairs Office Buner organized an awareness seminar on "climate change" aimed at empowering youth for climate action and environmental sustainability. The event was conducted under the direction of the Worthy Director of Youth Affairs and the supervision of the District Administration Buner at "Abbottabad International School and College Sowari".

During the seminar, students gained awareness about the causes and impacts of climate change, learned practical ways to help reduce its effects, and understood the important role young people can play in protecting the environment and promoting sustainability. At the conclusion of the event, shields and appreciation certificates were distributed among participating students in recognition of their active involvement.
