Mushaira at District Dir Lower

In a bid to revive cultural and literary programs, the district administration of Dir Lower, in collaboration with the District Youth Office Dir Lower and Sports departments, organized a grand Mushaira festival at the District Assembly Hall, Balambat. Prominent poets from Dir Lower participated, including Rizwanullah Shamal, Muslim Wasal, Abdul Kabir Mustan, Alauddin, Noor Rehman, Sardar Ali Shah, Fazl Maboud, Gul Muhammad, Umar Saeed, and Muhammad Tahir. Presided over by District Education Officer Inayatullah, the event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bashir Khan, Assistant Commissioner Taimargarh Zaid Safi, and other distinguished guests. Renowned comic poet Umar Saeed Wafadar stole the show with his humorous recitals. The chief guest pledged to organize similar literary programs in every tehsil. The event concluded with the presentation of traditional shawls, certificates to poets, and honorary shields to distinguished guests by Additional Deputy Commissioner, District Youth Officer Shahzad Tariq, and District Sports Officer Ijaz Ahmed."
