Celebration of Women's Week in District Chitral Upper

The District Youth Office Upper Chitral, in collaboration with the District Administration, organized a successful Women's Week from 19 to 25 September 2024. The grand opening ceremony took place at the TMA Office Upper Chitral, marking the beginning of a week focused on empowering women across various sectors. A series of events followed, held at locations including Oxford College, the Social Welfare Office, Govt Girls High School Werkup, and Govt Higher Secondary School Warijun Mulkhow.

Key topics addressed during the week included health issues, women's roles in community development, digital literacy, vocational skills, and technological advancements. Various trainers contributed their expertise throughout the sessions. The closing ceremony was held at Govt Higher Secondary School Warijun, where the ADC General served as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included the District Sports Officer, District Youth Officer, District Population Welfare Officer, TMA Mulkhow, ADC Finance, and numerous community women.
