Climate Change Session at Youth Hostel Khanspur at District Abbottabad

A Climate Change Tour was successfully organized at the scenic Youth Hostel Khanaspur, Ayubia, with the goal of spreading awareness among youth about pressing environmental issues. Set against the lush backdrop of Ayubia National Park, the event featured a dynamic blend of educational and adventure activities.

This impactful event was organized by the District Youth Office Abbottabad, whose efforts were central in bringing together youth, experts, and community members for a meaningful environmental initiative.

The tour was formally inaugurated by Dr. Nouman Mujahid, Director Youth Affairs, who delivered an inspiring keynote speech during the opening ceremony. He stressed the urgent need for climate action and encouraged young people to take an active role in building a sustainable future.

A dedicated seminar on climate change served as a focal point of the event, addressing its causes, consequences, and actionable strategies for mitigation. The interactive session empowered participants with knowledge and ignited their passion for environmental advocacy.

The tour featured strong participation from the active volunteers of District Youth Office Abbottabad, whose energy and commitment greatly enriched the experience. A memorable highlight was the hike from Dongagali to Mukshpuri Top, offering breathtaking views and a firsthand reminder of why our natural heritage must be preserved.

To reinforce the message of environmental stewardship, the participants also enthusiastically took part in a cleanliness drive and plantation activity, contributing to the preservation and beautification of the local environment.

Combining learning, adventure, and purpose, the Climate Change Tour left participants motivated and inspired to be agents of environmental change.
