Thalassemia Awareness Day Event at District Abbottabad

On the occasion of Thalassemia Awareness Day (8th May), an inspiring awareness session was held at UET Abbottabad, organized by the District Youth Office in collaboration with Alkhidmat Hajra Hamza and the UET Abbottabad Blood Donation Association.

The event featured an impactful blood donation camp, where students of UET and volunteers from the Youth Office donated blood to support Thalassemia patients. A heartfelt cake-cutting ceremony with Thalassemia patients and gift distribution brought joy and hope to all participants.

To recognize the hard work and contributions, shields and certificates were presented to guest speakers and student organizers who played a vital role in making the event a success.
