One Day First Aid and Basic Life Support Training Session at District Mohmand

District Youth Office in collaboration with Rescue 1122 Mohmand arranged one day First Aid and Basic Life Support Training Session at Government College of Management Sciences, Mohmand. Trainer of the said session was Sajid Ullah (District Training Wing In-charge of Rescue-1122 Mohmand). The aim of the said training was to equip students with the knowledge and skills to provide immediate care to someone who is injured or suddenly becomes ill before medical professionals arrive, Understanding the principles of first aid, including the ABCs of first aid (airway, breathing, circulation) and the appropriate steps to take in different emergency situations, Learning how to assess the scene of an emergency and make it safe for oneself and others, Understanding how to communicate effectively with the injured or ill person, as well as with emergency services and other responders, Learning basic life-saving techniques, such as CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), how to stop bleeding, and how to treat shock, Understanding the appropriate procedures for administering medication and other forms of first aid and learning how to properly record and report the incident and the care provided. At the End certificates were distributed among the students, Faculty Staff of the conerned college and Souvenirs were presented to Distinguished Guests.
