Seminar On Psychological First Aid & Drug Abuse at District Swat

Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Swat and the Director of Youth Affairs, the District Youth Office Swat, in collaboration with Fatma College of Professional Sciences, organized a comprehensive seminar focused on Psychological First Aid and Drug Abuse. The seminar sought to delve into the core principles and techniques of Psychological First Aid, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and offering support to individuals in distress. The session aimed to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to assist people experiencing psychological challenges, thereby promoting emotional well-being within the community.

In addition to the discussions on psychological first aid, the seminar also addressed the pervasive issue of drug abuse, which remains a serious concern in society. The event covered the causes, effects, and prevention strategies for drug abuse, offering participants valuable insights into how to combat this growing menace. At the conclusion of the seminar, shields and certificates were awarded to the guest speakers and participants in recognition of their contributions and active involvement.
