One Month CCTV Camera Installation Course at District Dir Lower
A one-month CCTV camera installation course, jointly organized by the District Administration and District Youth Office Dir Lower, has successfully concluded at the District Assembly Hall Balambat. This training program was conducted under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Noman Mujahid, Director of the Directorate of Youth Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Arif Khan, Deputy Commissioner of Lower Dir.
The closing ceremony, held today on 21 January 2025, was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. Kiramat Shah, Deputy Director of Information Technology, Finance Department Dir Lower; Mr. Nawab Udin, Finance Department, Mr. Syed Ubaid Jan, President of IYW Tehsil Timergara .Mr. Ijaz Khatir, Senior Vice President of IYW Tehsil Timergara . District Youth Officer Malik Shahzad Tariq , Principal of IT Park Institution, Mr. Muhammad Ilyas along with other notable community figures. During the ceremony, certificates and diplomas were awarded to over 80 students who successfully completed the comprehensive training course.
In his address, Mr. Ubaid Jan (CM , MYA ) emphasized the critical importance of modern sciences and the acquisition of professional and technical skills for today’s youth. He encouraged students to remain diligent in their studies and actively engage in vocational training opportunities. These skills are vital for enhancing their employability and improving their prospects in an increasingly competitive job market.
Mr. Ijaz Khatir, in his speech, highlighted the importance of integrating technical skills and vocational training with traditional educational curricula. He asserted that such training is essential for equipping students with the practical knowledge required in various industries and professions.
Malik Shahzad Tariq, the District Youth Officer, acknowledged the contributions of the guests and presented shields to honor their support. He also assured attendees that similar short courses would be organized in every tehsil of Lower Dir, aiming to create accessible employment opportunities for students and empower more young individuals in the region.
The students expressed sincere gratitude to the District Youth Office and the District Administration for facilitating their training. They collectively requested the continuation of such courses in the future, recognizing the value of these programs in developing their skills and enhancing their career prospects.
This initiative marks a significant step toward fostering skill development among the youth of Lower Dir, promoting not only individual growth but also contributing to the socio-economic progress of the community as a whole.
