Seminar on the Anti-Corruption at District Charsadda

A significant seminar on the topic of anti-corruption was organized on December 9, 2024, at the Hall of Government Postgraduate College, Charsadda. The event was held under the supervision of the District Administration Charsadda and was organized by the District Youth Office Charsadda. The distinguished special guest for the occasion was Deputy Commissioner Charsadda, Mr. Qaiser Khan. Other notable guests included District Youth Officer Mr. Faheem Jan Durrani, Assistant Commissioner Charsadda Mr. Riaz Ahmed, Additional Assistant Commissioner Mr. Abdul Maqsat, Ms. Sonia Naz, District Sports Officer Mr. Mashal, District Hatib Mufti Mr. Abdul Basit, and the Principal of the college, Professor Raza Shah.

During the seminar, students delivered eloquent speeches and presented tableaux on the theme of anti-corruption, which were well-received and highly appreciated by the audience. In his address, Deputy Commissioner Qaiser Khan emphasized the detrimental effects of corruption and its profound social impact. He encouraged the students to remain steadfast in their commitment to eradicating this scourge and to advocate for honesty and transparency in society.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were awarded to students who had effectively conveyed the message of anti-corruption. Following the award distribution, participants, along with the students, participated in a brief walk to further raise awareness about the importance of combating corruption. The seminar proved to be a pivotal initiative in promoting awareness and advocating for the elimination of corruption in the community.
