United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Two-day Consultation Workshop

The UNODC has hosted a two-day consultation workshop in Islamabad, focusing on Youth Welfare and Development. Led by the Director Youth Affairs, the Directorate's team presented the various youth schemes and initiatives implemented in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) especially the Ehsaas Naujawan programme, Chief Minister Youth Internship programme and Establishment of Jawan Marwkiz. The forum, comprising delegates from other provinces as well who acknowledged KP's remarkable progress and reforms for youth development. KP's initiatives were recognized for their impact on youth welfare and development with special applause from Prime Minister Youth Programme's team.

On special request of Mr.Rana Mashhood, Chairperson of the PM Youth Programme, who invited the workshop participants for a meeting. The Director Youth Affairs suggested the Chairman to establish a joint working group to streamline initiatives across federal and provincial levels, ensuring more effective implementation.

This collaboration will be aimed to further enhance youth development and welfare in Pakistan.
