Awareness Session on Climate Change - Understanding Mitigation & Adaptation

District Youth Office Nowshera, in collaboration with the Youth Alliance for Peace and Development (YAPD), successfully organized an engaging climate change awareness session at the Jawan Markaz Nowshera.

The session was inaugurated by Chairman Hanif Ahmad Khan of YAPD. Master Trainer Luqman Hakeem led a series of interactive activities, providing participants with valuable insights into the realities of climate change. To foster enthusiasm, chocolates were awarded to participants who actively answered questions, creating an engaging learning environment.

The session was divided into three parts:

1. Awareness – Understanding the causes and effects of climate change.

2. Mitigation – Strategies to reduce the impact of climate change.

3. Adaptation – Ways to cope with its consequences.

District Youth Officer, Adil Khan Kheshgi, emphasized the importance of educating the young generation about the challenges posed by climate change and assured future collaborations with YAPD to further these efforts.

We are proud of the contributions made by the organizers, including M Awais Zahid and Anas khan, who led the session, and the active participation of both male and female attendees, demonstrating their commitment to addressing climate change.
