The one-month Skills Enhancement Program on Amazon Business Models, freelancing, and E-Commerce Opportunities for Youth, jointly organized by the District Administration and the District Youth Office Dir Lower, concluded successfully at Al Hazhar College, Timergara on October 28, 2024. The program, held under the patronage of Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower, Mr. Muhammad Arif Khan, and Director of the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Dr. Noman Mujahid, saw the presence of esteemed guests, including Assistant Commissioner Timergara, Mr. Zaid Safi, Principal of Al Azhar College, Mr. Javed Iqbal, DYO Mr. Shehzad Tariq, and other distinguished personalities. Certificates and diplomas were awarded to over 50 students who completed the course successfully.

During the closing ceremony, Mr. Musa khan conducted a detailed session on Amazon business models such as private label, wholesale, online business, and virtual assistant opportunities. He also provided insights into freelancing and platforms like Fiverr and Upwork, teaching participants how to create gigs on these platforms to enhance their online work prospects. Mr. Rizwan Ullah discussed the concept and future vision of E-Merchant Pakistan, emphasizing how exploring e-commerce opportunities could lead to success.

Assistant Commissioner Timergara, Mr. Zaid Safi, commended the efforts of the District Youth Officer Dir Lower and emphasized the significance of acquiring modern scientific, professional, and technical skills for students. He encouraged them to focus on their studies and engage in technical and vocational training alongside their education.

The District Youth Officer presented shields to the guests and assured the audience that similar training programs would be organized in every tehsil of Dir Lower to facilitate easier employment opportunities for students. The students expressed their gratitude to the Youth Officer and requested the organization of such courses in the future.
