Awareness Seminar on Antinarcotics

Commissioner Peshawar Division Riyaz Mehsud has said that more damage than terrorism has been done to the country by drug dealers who are trying to destroy our future generation and society. 330 million rupees have been approved by the provincial government for the rehabilitation of drug addicts, which will be used to treat drug addicts in Peshawar Division.


He expressed these views while speaking at an awareness seminar on anti-narcotics held in Charsadda under the supervision of the District Administration and organized by District Youth Affairs Charsadda and Social Welfare Department.


On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Qaiser Khan, District Police Officer Masood Ahmad Bangash, Additional Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Shahbaz Khattak, Assistant Commissioner Riaz Khan, Assistant Commissioner Tangi Waqas Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioners Charsadda Sonia Naz, Abdul Muqasit, Dilnawaz, District Youth Officer Faheem Jan Durrani, Principals and students of various government colleges including District Social Welfare Officer Younis Khan participated in large numbers.

A stage drama on the harms of drugs was also presented in the event
