The First State-of-the-Art Jawan Markaz in District Mohmand

The District Youth Office Mohmand proudly announces the successful completion of Jawan Markaz Mohmand, the first-ever state-of-the-art Youth Development Centre in District Mohmand. This landmark initiative marks a major step toward youth empowerment and socio-economic development in the newly merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Strategically located at the District Headquarters Ghallanai within the premises of Shaheed Captain Rooh Ullah Stadium, the facility is easily accessible to youth from all tehsils of the district. It has been established to provide modern educational, technological, professional, and recreational opportunities under one roof, particularly for underprivileged and conflict-affected youth.

Jawan Markaz Mohmand is equipped with modern infrastructure, including a fully air-conditioned Main Auditorium with a seating capacity of 120 participants, furnished with a multimedia projector, sound system, and presentation equipment for seminars, workshops, conferences, and cultural events.

The centre also features a modern Information Technology (IT) Laboratory with 40 latest-generation 3-in-1 computer systems, designed to deliver training in digital skills, freelancing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, graphic designing, and other emerging fields.

A well-equipped Book Library provides a dedicated space for reading, learning, and research, while a separate Training Hall with a capacity of 50 participants supports vocational training, career counseling, entrepreneurship development, and leadership programs. In total, the facility comprises three multipurpose halls that can be utilized for youth forums, startup boot camps, meetings, and various developmental activities.

Jawan Markaz Mohmand is envisioned as a hub of innovation, learning, and community engagement, providing young people with the skills and resources needed to become productive citizens and future leaders. Through this initiative, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the District Youth Office Mohmand reaffirm their commitment to promoting youth development, digital transformation, and sustainable socio-economic progress.
