Annual Naat Competition 2024 - A Celebration of Devotion

On September 4, 2024, the Annual Naat Competition was held with great reverence and enthusiasm at the Public Library Hall in Prang, Charsadda. The District Youth Affairs Charsadda meticulously organized this religious event under the direction of the esteemed Deputy Commissioner of Charsadda. The event aimed to foster a spirit of devotion among the youth by providing a platform to express their love and admiration for the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم), the Seal of the Prophets (خاتم النبیین).

The competition witnessed active participation from both male and female students representing various institutions across the district. Each participant recited a Naat, a poetic expression of praise for the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW), showcasing their talent and devotion. The event was divided into three categories, allowing for a diverse range of participants to compete and demonstrate their skills.

A panel of esteemed judges, experts in the field of Naat recitation, was tasked with evaluating the performances. The judges carefully assessed each recitation based on various criteria, including pronunciation, melody, and the emotional connection conveyed through the verses. After a rigorous evaluation process, the judges announced the position holders for each category, awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places to the most outstanding recitations.

The winners were honored with award shields and certificates, a token of recognition for their exceptional performances. These awards not only celebrated the participants' achievements but also encouraged them to continue their journey of spiritual expression through Naat recitation.

The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests from the District Administration and other departments. Among the notable attendees were Mr. Waqas Khan, Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Mr. Abdul Muqsit, Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Mr. Faheem Jan Durrani, the District Youth Officer (DYO) of Charsadda, Mr. Fazal Subhan, Principal of Government Post Graduate College (GPGC), and Mr. Kamil Hafeez, Assistant District Education Officer (ADEO).
